    Alligator Gorge should not be missed by any visitors to the region. The walks are simple and forgiving (once you have made the descent down the stairs from the carpark to the Gorge floor). Take a half day out of your schedule to walk among towering rock faces amongst the beautiful vegetation. If you visit in June through to October you'll come across kangaroos, emus and many birds and flowers as you cross the flowing creeks.
